MASC Format |
All MASC competitions will follow USAG guidelines for competition format and for awards.
Awards shall meet or exceed USAG guidelines.
Competition will be open to all age groups, all compulsory levels (4-7) for tumbling, double mini trampoline, and individual trampoline. Synchronized trampoline is not available at this time. We will be allowing (for the purposes of mobility) higher levels (8,9,10) to compete. Coaches and athletes need to make themselves aware of the building limitations. These athletes will be eligible for awards, but will not count towards any team awards in the final championships.
Designated Qualifiers
There will be three designated qualifier competitions, and one final championships.
In order to qualify for championships, each athlete will have to attend 2 out of the 3 designated qualifiers. There will be no score requirement to attend final championships. Participation is encouraged!!!
There will be individual awards at both the Designated Qualifiers and the Final Championships.
At the state meeting held at JO Nationals, it was decided that any club could come participate in less than 2 qualifiers (including Championships), if they so desired. We are hoping to increase participation for these events in order to host an excellent venue.
Championships
In addition to individual champions in the final championships, there will also be team awards in the following divisions: Tumbling (Level 4-7 OPEN), Double Mini Trampoline (Level 4-7 OPEN), and Individual Trampoline (Level 4-7 OPEN).
In order to qualify as a "team" on each event, a club must provide 3 scores from any level. These scores will be cumulative. Some examples might include: (1) Level 4 athlete, (1) Level 6 athlete, and (1) Level 7 athlete; or (2) Level 5 athletes and (1) Level 4 athlete, etc.
All team awards will be in the form of plaques. The MASC will recognize ALL clubs and teams who paid a team entry fee with a plaque.
